Musical Instruments

We have been learning many different new and fun techniques in New Works. Each week we strive to gain experience and skill in every other cluster besides our own. Being in the theatre cluster, I get to learn from the visuals, dancers, and musicians while helping them understand my talents when the opportunity presents itself in class.   My favorite activity was making my own instrument because it was very intriguing to see how creative everyone else  was. I used a jar of sprinkles to demonstrate and instrument that shakes. I decorated the item with ribbons, beads, jewels, and pipe cleaners, and I titled it "Sprinkles." You can probably imagine why. But the best part was getting to see what everyone else came up with and how well everyone's music sounded together when we were paired in a group. SOOO MUCH FUN
